Prevention of Risk in Supply Chain, Digitization of Transport Cleaning Process

The presentation on supply chain safety delves into risk prevention during food transportation. It will provide an in-depth examination of supply chain complexities, particularly focusing on the condition of transport containers, the critical nature of thorough cleaning processes, and the influence of previous cargo on food safety. 

The session will highlight the duty of manufacturers and logistics providers to ensure container cleanliness, outline transportation risks, and discuss various transport units like road tankers, containers, refrigerated trucks, and Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) for different substances. 

Further discussion points include the perils of cross-contamination, the necessity of correct food labeling, and the threats associated with deceptive labeling practices and cleaning station protocols. Insights into the operations of cleaning stations, the significance of sterilization, food defense practices, and much more. 

Concluding the presentation, the European Registered Certificate - ENFIT Cleaning Certificate and HQF Certification of transport cleaning stations will be presented as a strategy to reduce supply chain risks. Attendees will gain valuable knowledge on risk factors and preventative strategies to safeguard food safety during transit.
